FEAT of Washington is excited to announce the launch of its new family service project. Starting January 2015 teens will have the opportunity to attend a monthly evening of recreational respite, providing support to parents and caregivers with a much needed break!
Located in Tacoma at the Metro Parks – Portland Ave Community Center. FEAT aims to provide teens with autism, aged 13 through 20, the opportunity to interact and “hangout” with other teens in a fun and safe, understanding and accepting recreational environment. All participants will be under the direct supervision of trained FEAT Experience Learning Project (ELP) staff and peer model volunteers.
When: Monthly – First session takes place Tuesday January 13th, 2015
Time: 4:30pm-7:30pm

New Family Intake Form will help us get to know your child’s individual needs while ensuring we have the right support and placement opportunity. Please print and send completed form to katie.mcandrew@featwa.org
Registration Form Once you have completed the New Family Intake Form and have been contacted by Katie McAndrew, (Program Manager) you may then register your teen for participation. Please note space is limited.
The fee is $25.00 per teen and will be collected at time of registration. Fee allows FEAT to provide this service and goes towards covering the costs associated with running the program.
